'Tache Wars - The Thrilling Conclusion

The Grillust™ 'Tache Wars Final ended with a thrilling sprint to the finish line at exactly 10.00 this morning. After seven hundred and six hours, nineteen minutes and four seconds of dynamic 'tache sprint action, the final few seconds were just too close to call.

As opposing supporters claimed victory for their own hirsute gladiator, the final decision had to wait for the umpire to consult the photo finish camera.

As can be seen below, this clearly shows the 'tache tip of Mr Jasper Van Looveren-Baines (21) crossing the 100mm finish line 'a whisker' ahead of his challenger the charismatic Mr Matthew Gordon (21).



It was so exciting that we all had to go for a lie down. 

Meanwhile, on the streets of Carlisle, Jasper's victorious supporters celebrated like it was 1945.
