the crumble report


Friday is crumble day; it's an indefatigable truth of life here on the graphics and illustrations courses at Cumbria. So it is with happy hearts and strained waistlines that we can say today's crumble was of supreme moistness, included the always welcome 'summer fruits' embellishment and was delivered forth in portions that verged upon culinary insanity.

Some have made comment on lecturer Tony Peart's (33) choice to go sans custard, but we applaud his cavalier approach and will say also that, in this case, it has allowed the summer fruits to shine through in an explosion of colour. (Very arty)
